Hear from representatives at the Department of Forestry & Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), Department of Fish & Wildlife, U.S. Geological Society, the Natural Resource Conservation Service, U.C. Berkeley, 4J Land & Livestock, UC Cooperative Extension, rangeland consultants, and more! Participants will increase their understanding of why people might choose targeted grazing as part of a vegetation management and fuels reduction strategy and how to incorporate conservation values into strategic management for fuel reduction.
Spaces are limited to the first 100 registrants. Once the registration list is full a waitlist will be maintained, and if others cannot make it, you will be contacted from the waitlist on a first-come first-serve basis. Morning refreshments and lunch beverages are provided by the San Diego-Imperial County Cattlemen’s Association and the San Diego County Cattlewomen, respectively! Please Bring Your Own Lunch.
